Piping Competitions Homepage
Message from the Piping Secretary
Inevitably people forget logins or passwords, especially for a system
that is not used all year round. I have, therefore, a forgotten
login or password page which is accessed from below the login section
on the left of this screen.
As with all sites that require you to
log in, we use cookies to store your session status and Id.
You must ensure that you have cookies enabled. If you experience
problems then you should check whether the computer you are
using has security settings that will allow you to use this
site you should do so by clicking System
Check. There are known problems with AOL users that
are down to AOLs very individual view on life If you
are an AOL user having problems conduct a System Check
as indicated on the left.

The Registration timetable in a normal year is:

Competitors register for each competition that
they
wish to be considered for.
A full track record and referees are necessary, particularly if you have
not competed before. |

Joint Committee of Argyllshire Gathering / Northern
Meeting meet to decide who is eligible to compete
in that year’s Oban and Inverness Competitions.
The committee comprises representatives of the two organisations, plus
up to four Senior judges and representatives from the CPA. Consideration
is given to recent track record, CPA grading, relative ability to peer
group, any other information.
Being selected one year may not mean that you are selected the next, given
that each year the numbers of registrations increases and there are many
good players around. |
